Se trata de un reflector con forma curva para concentrar el haz de luz gracias a su aluminio granulado y totalmente anodizado. Incorpora una práctica caja de conexiones totalmente estanca, que aumenta la seguridad junto con su casquillo cerámico E40 que no se derretirá si algo falla.
El gofrado de gota de agua está pensado para aprovechar al máximo la reflexión difusa, así los haces de luz que salen de la lámpara se reflejan en direcciones aleatorias amplificando dicha reflexión. Esto proporciona una superficie rugosa que difunde los haces de luz y reduce la incandescencia, tal que produce un 80% de reflexión total, del cual un 79% es difusa; mucho mejor para tus plantas.
El aluminio es de gran calidad, pero además se procesa electrolíticamente para aumentar la capa natural de óxido o alúmina. Este proceso se llama anodizado y protege al reflector de la corrosión.
Las conexiones quedan cubiertas y estancas gracias a una carcasa de material plástico, de forma circular, que las protege.
Junto al cable de 5 m con conexión C14 macho plug and play, el sistema eléctrico lo completa un portalámparas E40 de cerámica, material, como es sabido, altamente refractario, capaz de soportar elevadas temperaturas.
