Super Oleotion Insecticida es un aceite mineral parafínico refinado que ha sido diseñado exclusivamente para su empleo como protector de cultivos para el control efectivo contra plagas y algunas enfermedades gracias a su poder como insecticida- acaricida y fungicida agrícola.
Ejerce un buen efecto sobre cochinillas, pulgones, moscas blancas, etc y también buen efecto sobre ácaros (arañas rojas y amarillas).
Actúa por contacto provocando la hipoxia de los insectos. Cuando el insecto es alcanzado por el aceite, este se extiende por toda su superficie exterior afectando a los espiráculos destinados a la respiración del organismo impidiendo la respiración del insecto hasta que finalmente muere.
Super Oleotion Insecticida también posee una notable actividad ovicida. En este sentido, es capaz de afectar al desarrollo de los huevos, ya que imposibilita el intercambio gaseoso a través de la membrana impidiendo que el oxígeno llegue al interior de las células.
Aunque Super Oleotion Insecticida deja un residuo fino y continuo tras su aplicación, la plaga solo se extingue si está presente en el momento de la aplicación y sus individuos y huevos son alcanzados por el aceite. No obstante, dicho residuo sí que ejerce una acción repelente durante varios días contra la llegada de nuevas plagas.
