La nueva incorporación al equipo de autoflorecientes se basa en la premiada genética de la famosa ‘Mimosa’, un esqueje de elite de Norteamérica. Mimosa se creó originalmente cruzando Clementine con Purple Punch. El equipo de breeders de Dutch Passion ha cruzado este esqueje con una Purple Punch autofloreciente. Todos los fenotipos son verdes y tienen bonitas hojas brillantes, ¡pero la genética ciertamente tiene ese punch (morado) extra! Esta autofloreciente híbrida de baja estatura y fácil de podar crece hasta aproximadamente 50-90 cm., dependiendo del tamaño de la maceta, y produce una generosa cosecha. Se pueden esperar grandes y gruesos cogollos llenos de resina y los agradables tonos afrutados mezclados con sutiles tonos a combustible son los responsables del delicioso olor que sale de los cogollos escarchados. Lo que fue extraordinario de ver al hacer el análisis de terpenos, fue los niveles excepcionalmente altos de los terpenos más dominantes; beta mirceno, beta pineno, terpinoleno y beta cariofileno. Son los niveles más altos en terpenos en una autofloreciente que hemos visto hasta el momento… y sabe como huele ;)
